The world's newest Aman hotel is about to open丨Hidden luxury in an urban paradise!
On April 2, 2025, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, the 36th hotel of Aman Group, will officially open. Jean-Michel Gathy, the chief architect of Denniston Architects, is a legend in the hotel design industry and is known as a master of hotel design with more than 40 years of experience.
This is Aman's third urban resort Hotel Project in the world after New York and Tokyo. Aman Bangkok is inspired by the "symphony of water and light" and cleverly combines traditional Thai architectural elements with modern minimalist style. Designers use teak carving, silk embroidery, hand-painted murals and other crafts to reproduce the elegant charm of the Lanna Dynasty; and the 10-meter-high sky lobby, mirrored waterscape courtyard and suspended infinity pool give the space a transparent futuristic sense. The hotel displays more than a thousand works by local Thai artists, from Buddha sculptures to contemporary installations, showing cultural heritage everywhere. Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is the first hotel + residential project to be opened by Geminus Group since it became Aman's global partner in 2018. The project will include 52 all-suite hotel rooms, 33 residences, 3 restaurants and bars, and a 1,500 square meter spa.
The project is located in a prime location on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, within the famous Nai Lert Garden. It perfectly combines traditional Thai aesthetics with the essence of modern design to create a quiet sanctuary hidden in the bustling city for global travelers.
This secluded residence hidden in Nai Lert Park in Bangkok's embassy district takes nature as its background, history as its context, and reinterprets Thai aesthetics with contemporary design language. The opening room rate starts from ¥11,110/night, and during the Songkran Festival it starts from ¥13,100/night. It is about to refresh the dimension of Bangkok's luxury hotel experience.
The Aman Hotel is like a piece of emerald inlaid in the city center. It not only enjoys its own lush garden, but is also within close proximity to the embassy district and commercial landmarks.
The hotel was designed by legendary French designer Jean-Michel Gathy, who took "a symphony of water and light" as inspiration and seamlessly blended traditional elements of a century-old mansion with modern aesthetics.
Teak carvings, silk embroidery and hand-painted murals recreate the elegant charm of the Lanna Dynasty, while the 10-meter-high sky lobby, mirrored waterscape courtyard and suspended infinity pool give the space a transparent futuristic feel. The hotel displays more than a thousand local Thai artworks, from solemn Buddha statues to avant-garde installations. Walking through them is like walking through a flowing cultural feast.
A century-old Sompong tree in the center of the courtyard has become the soul of the landscape design. The light and shadow of its branches and leaves change with the seasons, outlining a natural painting that changes over time.
The 52 suites are located on the 11th to 18th floors of the hotel (starting from 94-713 square meters). The extra-large floor-to-ceiling windows or private terraces offer panoramic views of the greenery of Nai Lert Park or the bustling Bangkok skyline.
The interior is based on earth tones, with natural stone, rattan Furniture and custom silk soft furnishings interweaving to create a tranquil Zen atmosphere. The smart system, Diptyque® amenities and 24-hour butler service embody low-key luxury. The 1,500-square-meter Aman Spa has six treatment rooms, offering traditional Thai massage, Russian steam bath and customized healing programs, combined with personalized health management from the Hertitude Medical Center, to restore the balance of body and mind. The suspended infinity pool seems to float above the treetops of Nai Le Park, while the gym and yoga room bring natural scenery indoors, allowing every breath to resonate with the greenery.
Aman's 1,500-square-meter spa is located in a secret garden. It combines traditional Thai herbs with modern technology to create an original "urban healing" project, allowing you to experience a soul SPA in the center of the CBD. The sky-high infinity pool is suspended above the greenery, overlooking the city skyline and the panoramic view of Nai Garden. The hotel also regularly holds Muay Thai teaching, Buddhist flower hand-made, and private art exhibitions to deeply perceive the texture of Thai culture.
