The first Capella hotel in Taiwan, China, is about to open, setting a new level of luxury

The interior design was done by André Fu, who created the St. Regis Hong Kong and renovated the Capella Singapore, with the design theme of "contemporary manor". Most of the guest rooms can look out over the landmark Taipei 101 in the city, overlooking the prosperity. The hotel's architecture was handled by Mori Building Co., Ltd., the Japanese company behind top hotels such as Park Hyatt Shanghai and Canno Tokyo.
As you enter the hotel, you arrive at the lobby bathed in soft light. The staggered and overlapping tables are loaded with floral arrangements, porcelain, and picture books that showcase Taipei’s culture. The huge landscape art paintings in the background are even more eye-catching.
Afterwards, we came to the Capella brand's iconic Living Room. The art painting that serves as the fireplace background is similar to that in the arrival hall. The sofa rest area, which is like a private living room, feels the warmth of the fire and extends to the seats by the window, like an urban greenhouse.
The hotel has only 86 rooms, most of which overlook the city's landmark Taipei 101 building, with a view of the bustling city. The basic room area starts from 48 square meters and the price starts from ¥4,500 per night.
The guest room design is inspired by the vibrant and poetic places in Taiwan. Oriental-style antique shelves add a touch of cultural charm, while European-style bedside chandeliers bring sophisticated elegance, creating a harmonious blend of sophistication and local features. Each room has been carefully designed to be an elegant abode to return to after a day of exploring Taiwan's cultural treasures.
The hotel has a total of 5 restaurants and bars with unique characteristics, including the lobby lounge, a Western restaurant, a Chinese restaurant specializing in Cantonese cuisine, a Japanese omakase restaurant, and a French bakery that incorporates local seasonal ingredients from Taiwan.

The spa has a wide range of facilities, including a steam room and sauna in addition to multiple treatment rooms. The 24-hour fitness center is equipped with high-end Technogym equipment. The outdoor heated swimming pool has a wide view and can also enjoy the magnificent view of Taipei 101.
