Banyan Tree Group is a prestigious resort brand. Each of its works is unique. It advocates the resort hotel concept of "luxury close to nature, attention to ecology, and experience rich in cultural characteristics" and attaches great importance to guest privacy. Therefore, the location, environment and details are often impressive.

The hotel architecture was designed by GOA, and the interior design was created by HBA, a subsidiary of Golden Mantis. Golden Mantis undertook the interior decoration of all guest rooms of the two hotels, including lobby bars, restaurants, conference spaces, swimming pools and other public areas, with a total decoration area of ​​29,288 square meters. On the "canvas" of pink walls and black tiles, a secluded place with unique Gusu style was created with every step, brick by brick.

Kengo Kuma's thoughts in "Negative Architecture": Architecture grows from nature, should be integrated into nature, humbly give in, or even "disappear". The hotel complex fits the slope and shape of the hillside, as if embedded in the natural landscape, with vast waves and light mist.

 

Banyan Tree has 11 villa buildings scattered on the upper and lower floors, forming a courtyard that resembles a luxurious mansion. There are 60 guest rooms and suites in total. Although they appear to be freely gathered, a closer look reveals that they contain a sequential logic that emphasizes the axis of symmetry.

 

Spring water is bluer than the sky, and I sleep on a painted boat listening to the rain. The Suzhou style is elegant. The Golden Mantis project team strictly follows the owner's and design requirements, extending from the two hotel lobbies, guest rooms, restaurants to tea rooms, swimming pools, etc. The interior decorations are full of classical images of boat workshops, lanterns, flower windows, and carved bricks. Suzhou embroidery, jade, ceramics, and kesi handicrafts can be seen everywhere. The fine craftsmanship shows the charm of the Jiangnan region, and strives to echo the prosperous scene of Suzhou that year, which is refreshing.

Walking in the corridor leading to the restaurant in the lobby, the sunlight shines through the gaps in the fence, casting mottled light and shadows, adding a touch of mystery to this quiet space.

White clouds rise from distant peaks, swaying into the clear sky. The name of this "Baiyun" Chinese restaurant may seem simple, but a closer look reveals its rich oriental poetry. The bowls, plates and tableware are painted with just a few strokes of colorful ink, instantly transporting people into the Jiangnan scene.

The SPA of Banyan Tree is the signature of the resort, and it is also an important proof of the project team's extreme requirements for details. The SPA has a spacious indoor space, with a special artificial waterfall landscape outside the window. Outside the transparent floor-to-ceiling glass, there are all beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, waiting for the sunset.

The guest rooms are available in two sizes: 60㎡ and 90㎡. The guest rooms emphasize the transparency of the space. The walls are in a simple style, matched with stylish classical landscape paintings and original wood background walls.

Each guest room has an independent sunken hot spring pool and outdoor courtyard. Some courtyards have outdoor hot spring pools. You can enjoy the garden scenery while soaking in the hot spring. This gives you a sense of relaxation during your vacation. It is like living in the water.
