The interior design was created by the world-renowned design firm Studio Munge. Whether it is the design color scheme, materials or finishes, all of them reflect the Canadian style. Hotel guests will truly feel the distinctive regional characteristics.
The South Tower of the hotel was once the Park Plaza Hotel, where the elite gathered. After a meticulous restoration, it is now used as luxury residences and penthouses. The North Tower has 219 themed rooms, and a two-story long glass building connects the north and south buildings.
Looking up at the hotel dome, countless fine lights are reflected on the bronze exterior.
Walking into the lobby, the jacquard tapestry "Dead Ringers" created by Canadian native artist Shannon Bool appears on the right side of the corridor. The embroidered models are wearing ready-made clothes made of various building materials or partially woven, which is fashionable and modern.
The lounge area is designed as an open gallery. The sofa echoes the hand-woven wool carpet, which is inspired by the bark of Canadian fig trees. There is also the scene of pebbles and dew on fallen leaves in the autumn sun of maple forests...
Walking along the corridor is the hotel’s only restaurant, Joni. Two sets of sofa seats in the reception area are facing each other, and the towering fireplace behind them exudes a cool metallic texture.
The dining area’s frieze is the same as the reception area, covered in soft wood. A spiral staircase that winds upwards like dominoes or piano black keys is Joni’s finishing touch.
The black staircase at the end of the space is the ultimate romantic finishing touch. The piano-key-like strip-shaped wooden railings wind up and connect to the second-floor banquet hall, infinitely extending the visual effect of music flowing.
Writer's Room, a rooftop bar on the 17th floor, has become a cultural symbol, like Café de Flore, and is a spiritual territory deeply loved by the city of Toronto.
In terms of other facilities, in addition to the fitness center, a Stillwater Spa with an area of more than 740m² and 13 treatment rooms also makes up for the regret that the hotel has no swimming pool to a certain extent.
The dark wooden walls are matched with earth-toned sofas and carpets, either light brown or grayish white. Some local partitions are made of textured black marble, which is stable and inclusive.
The living room and bedroom are separated by a screen inlaid with wood and copper glass, creating a sense of privacy and spatial rhythm. The sides of the Bed screen are rounded and decorated with exquisite metal details, creating a gentle and relaxing embrace, gorgeous and comfortable. About IDM
